Dan Dittman, age 60, of Baldwin, Wisconsin died Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at his home.

Dan was born October 3, 1957 to Arlin and Ramona (Wayne) Dittman at St. Paul, Minnesota. He was baptized at Roseville and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Woodville.

 

Dan attended Baldwin-Woodville Schools graduating with the Class of 1976.

 

On September 4, 1976 Dan married Jill Helgeson at the Helgeson home in Eau Galle Township. They were blessed with a son Aaron. They were later divorced.

 

On October 3, 1987 Dan married Brenda Smith in Las Vegas. They were blessed a daughter Ashley. They were later divorced.

 

Dan worked over 30 years at Andersen Windows in Bayport. He retired in 2015.

He lived on the Dittman farm in Cady Township from 1972 to 2014 when he moved to Baldwin.

 

Dan loved hunting, fishing, and maintaining the family farm. He golfed and enjoyed having coffee and playing cribbage with his friends. He also followed the Twins, Brewers, the Packers and the Vikings.  He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew Derek Dittman.

 

He is survived by his son Aaron (Melissa) Boston of Buchanan, New York; and his sons, Ryder and Nash; daughter Ashley (Anthony) Goebel of River Falls;  3 brothers: Mike (Micki) Dittman of White Bear Lake, MN; Neal (Penny) Dittman of Baldwin; Joel (Traci) Dittman of Cottage Grove, MN; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

 

Memorial service is on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Woodville. Family and friends may gather from 10-11 am prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Lone Pine Cemetery, Woodville.
