Delores "Dee" Lansing, age 56, died Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center, Spring Valley, Wisconsin.

MEMORIAL SERVICE:   for Dee will be Saturday, July 8, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Cedarbrook Church in Menomonie.

VISITATION:  will be Saturday, from noon until 2 p.m. at Cedarbrook Church prior to the service.

Dee was born July 6, 1960 to Kermit and Remona (Holden) Lansing at Menomonie, Wisconsin.  She was baptized and confirmed at Martell Methodist Church, Martell, Wisconsin.

Dee graduated from Spring Valley High School with the Class of 1978.  She worked for Marathon Cheese, Ideal Door and Stromley’s Woodworking.

Dee was blessed to be known as Delores, Dee, Deed, Mama Dee, Grandma Dee, Auntie Dee by so many people. The love of family and friends, her free-spirited personality filled with lots of laughter, the strength and determination, her quick tongue and temper made her one of the most amazing and inspirational women to know.

She was preceded in death by her father Kermit; brother Dennis; and infant brothers Durwin, Dwight, and Dean.

Survivors include her mother Remona of Spring Valley; son Heath Lansing of Menomonie; grandchildren Austin Lansing of Ellsworth, Randa Rude(Randy), Kira Rude(Randy) and Brynleigh Rude(Miranda) of Eau Claire; step children Miranda Rude of Eau Claire, Randy Rude Jr(Carrie) of Eau Claire; Jean Rude of Amery; Jane(Andrew) Thorud of Amery; and Chad Rude of Eau Claire; sisters and brother: Dawn Neidermyer of Spring Valley; Debbie Peterson of Spring Valley; Denise (Bernie) Christman of Elmwood; Dan (Sheri) Lansing of Henderson, MN; and Darla Lansing of Eau Claire; 15 nieces and nephews, 35 great nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
