Michael Freeman, age 68 of Baldwin, Wisconsin died Monday, July 17, 2017 at his home.

VISITATION for Mike is Friday, July 21 from 4-8 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.

MEMORIAL SERVICE is Saturday, July 22 at 11 a.m. at Wilson Lutheran Church, Wilson, Wisconsin.

Mike was born May 14, 1949 to Marshall and Emma Elwanda (Sykes) Freeman in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He attended Cottage Gove, Minnesota school.  After school he worked as an auto mechanic at different locations in the Twin Cities area.  Mike enjoyed drag racing his 1973 Ford Pinto, spending time at their camper in Waterville, Minnesota when they had it, going to thrift stores and spending time with family and friends.

On June 20, 1998 he married Jacquelyn Anderson at their home in Newport, Minnesota.  They lived in Newport, Minnesota, Roberts and Baldwin, Wisconsin.  He was a firefighter and engineer and served on the Newport Fire Department for 14 years.  The fire department was very dear to his heart until the very end.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marshall and Emma Elwanda; step mother Joann Thompson Freeman; brother David Holum; and parents-in-law Spencer and Patsy Anderson; and brother-in-law Brad Anderson.

Survivors include his wife Jackie of Baldwin; daughter Tonya (Dan) Kison of Bloomington; grandchildren: Alex and Alexis Kison; siblings: Fred Freeman (Cheryl); Steve Freeman (Madonna); Butch Holum (Gayle); Roger Holum (Jana); Kathy Busch (Rick); Jim Holum (Kari); Michael Holum (Debbie); and Marshall Freeman; sisters-in-law Carolyn Anderson and Pam Anderson; special friends Griff and Sarah Bowen and their children Robbie and Paiton; many other relatives and friends.
