Charles 'Chuck' Serier

Charles ‘Chuck’ Serier, age 80, of Woodville, Wisconsin died Thursday, February 22, 2024, at United Hospital in St. Paul.

Chuck was born December 24, 1943, to Lester and Arlene (Larson) Serier in Baldwin, Wisconsin.  He was baptized and confirmed and a longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church, Baldwin.

Chuck grew up on the family farm in Eau Galle Township.  He attended Baldwin-Woodville Schools and graduated with the Class of 1962.  On June 27, 1964, he was married to Carolyn Gunderson at Zion Lutheran Church in Woodville.  They were blessed with 4 children: Steven, Barry, Kelly, and Kenny.  The marriage later ended in divorce.

Chuck farmed his entire life on the family farm.  He loved attending auctions and going to the Minnesota State fair where he could talk to anyone willing to visit with him.  He sold seed corn, motors, waterers and other farm supplies for several different companies.  Chuck had served on the Farmers Elevator Board in Baldwin.

Preceding him in death were his parents and son Steven.

Chuck is survived by his children: Barry Serier; Kelly (Chris) Pribble; and Kenny (Katie Peterson) Serier; 10 grandchildren: Mark (Sara) Serier; Brandon (Abby) Serier; Joshua Pribble; Matthew (Alyssa Fouks) Pribble; Kaylynn (Tyler Buker) Serier; Karie (Austin Garrity and son Porter) Serier; Kassandra (Jermyn) Pedretti; Saddie Serier; Robert Serier; and Sophia Serier; 7 Great granchildren: Carson, Eli, Rosa, Amalia, Eden, Tatum and Becker; sisters Sharon (Duane) Erickson and Lori (Allan) Collar; his ex-wife Carolyn Serier; many other relatives and friends.

Memorial service for Chuck will be on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Historic Woodside Place, rural Baldwin.      

Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 1-3 p.m. at Historic Woodside Place prior to the service.

Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Baldwin, Wisconsin.
