Arlene Nelson Obituary

Arlene Nelson, age 88, of Woodville, Wisconsin died Friday, March 8, 2019 at Park View Home in Woodville.

Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2019 from 9 until 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Woodville.

A Celebration of Life service will follow visitation at the church at 11 a.m.

Graveside service will be at later date.

 

Arlene was born March 7, 1931 to Alfred and Ellamae (Canedy) Nelson in Springfield Township, St Croix Country, Wisconsin.  She lived two miles north of her present home and have lived there for over 56 years. Arlene attended school at Woodville graduating with the Class of 1949.  On August 21, 1950 she married Norman Nelson at the Hersey Bible Church.  In addition to helping on the farm Arlene worked at Park View Home in Woodville for 30 years.  She enjoyed painting and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman, baby girl Judy, and brothers Clyde and Sam Nelson

Survivors include her children: Diane (Roger) Coleman of Wilson; Rick (Tammy) Nelson of Glenwood City; Becky (Curt) Monson of Cottage Grove, MN; and Gary (Erlene) Nelson, Florida; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother Ray (Sue) Nelson of Woodville; many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, March 15, at Frist Baptist Church in Woodville.  A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Burial will be at a later date in Lone Pine Cemetery, Woodville.
