Dear Mary Catherine and family:

Tom and I are holding you in our thoughts and hope your wonderful memories of Gentleman farmer Barry will sustain you in the days ahead. I'm reminded of the beautiful song by Sting about the west wind moving upon the fields of golden barley where the farmer walks. I know Barry was connected deeply to the land where he spent his life and was a dedicated steward of the land. When Mom and I visited several months ago, I loved hearing his story of the mountain lion that visited the farm.

With love and remembrance.
