Cristine 'Crissy" Olson

Cristine ‘Crissy’ Olson, age 38 of Colfax, Wisconsin died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at her home.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Colfax Lutheran Church in Colfax at 2 p.m.

VISITATION will be from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Crissy was born October 13, 1979 to Deanne (Dickens) and Randy Olson.  She grew up near Woodville and attended Baldwin-Woodville Schools.  Crissy had a passion for helping people which led to her career as a health care provider.

Crissy had a smile that could light up a room. She had many talents but was best known for her Karaoke singing.  She had an amazing voice that would give you the chills. She enjoyed playing pool, softball, and darts and loved watching older cartoons. She had a collection of smurfs and owls. She also enjoyed old movies with her favorite being The Wizard of Oz.  Above all, Crissy loved her family more than anything. She had a heart of gold which was evident in her work and family life.  Many of her daughters’ friends called her “mom” along with many nieces and nephews who were blessed to call her Auntie Crissy.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her children: Makayla, Keyarra, Shayla and Tayshon, all of Colfax; her parents Deanne and Stan Thompson of Colfax; sister Carrie Minke-Davis of La Crosse; goddaughter/niece Diondra Davis of La Crosse; fiancé Lishon James; father Randy Olson as well as a host of many other relatives and countless friends.

Crissy is preceded in death by her grandparents Lester and Ione Dickens Selmer and Mabel Thompson.
