David Miller

David H. Miller of Spring Valley, WI passed away in family's loving arms Sunday, August 12, 2018.

David was born in Little Falls, MN. He graduated high school in Loyal, WI and from college in Ripon, WI. He had a fundamental and powerful respect for his Country. He joined the service during the Vietnam War and proudly served for 23.5 years. He retired as a Staff Sergeant (E6).  He loved his family, riding horse and being outdoors. He was a man of few words - so we hung onto them. Selfless and wise. Strong and sensitive. Loving and loved beyond words.

He was met at the heavenly gate by his Father Reverend Paul Miller, Mother Marie Reichert-Miller and brother Duane Miller.

He is survived in death by his loving wife Lucinda Miller, daughters Tanya (Ernie) Duerr, Nuawana (Peter) Sullivan, Therese (Derrick) Schaffner, his beloved son Derek (Megan) Miller, his 13 grandchildren, siblings: Don (Elaine) Miller; Jim Miller; Bonnie (Alan) Larson; and Mary (Duane) Noble; and step mother Gladys Hosmer-Miller.

Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2018 from 9:30-11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran, Baldwin.  Funeral service follows at 11 a.m. Friday at Peace. Burial will be at a later date.
