Howard Baillargeon, age 68, of Spring Valley died Monday, September 3, 2018 at his home in Gilman Township.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at Gilman Lutheran Church, Spring Valley.
VISITATION is from 9:30 until 11 at church prior to the service on Friday.
Burial will be in Gilman Lutheran Cemetery, Spring Valley, Wisconsin.
Howard was born September 5, 1949 in Phelps, Wisconsin. He was raised near Forest, Wisconsin by his parents Harry and Mary (Cullen) Baillargeon. He attended Glenwood City School and after school attended Vo-Tech in Eau Claire. One of his first jobs was refrigeration and appliance repairs.
On July 4, 1970, Howard married Betty Lou Everson at the Catholic Church in Glenwood City. He had worked in the cities, worked at Kolpak Refrigeration in River Falls, and enjoyed a job as a truck broker. He retired from Foley United in River Falls. He enjoyed planting and caring for the trees around their home in Gilman Township. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycle, and traveling with Betty.
Preceding him in death were his parents and several siblings.
Survivors include his wife Betty of Spring Valley; daughters: Sheila (Brian) Hubbell and Penny (David) Berg, all of Spring Valley; grandchildren: Derek and Jessica Hubbell, and Nicholas, Tyler and Ryan Berg; a number of siblings; in-laws; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
