Leland Wilson, age 89, of Woodville, Wisconsin died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Western Wisconsin Health, Baldwin, Wisconsin.

FUNERAL SERVICE for Leland will be Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church, rural Baldwin, Wisconsin.

VISITATION will be Sunday, April 15 from 3-5 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home and also at church on Monday for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in the Woodside Cemetery, Baldwin, Wisconsin.

Leland Wilson, age 89, of Woodville, Wisconsin died Friday, April 13, 2018 at Western Wisconsin Health, Baldwin, Wisconsin.

Leland (Lee) Monroe Wilson was born in Tacoma, Washington on May 2, 1928 to Vernon and Vera (Meyer) Wilson.  When he was almost five years old, the family moved back to Bruce, Wisconsin.

Leland attended north Washington School at Bruce through the 8th grade.  He then worked for farmers around the Bruce area.  In 1956 he moved down to Spring Valley and lived with his aunt and uncle and worked one year at Bjornson Sawmill.  In 1957 Lee started working at Arnold Madson’s Sawmill for 34 years, retiring in 1990.  After retirement he took up woodworking and also was groundskeeper for Stockman Farm Supply for about 10 years until his legs wouldn’t carry him anymore and his working days were over.  He was a hardworking man and liked by all.

On May 28, 1961 he married Donna Anderson in Nashua, Iowa. Two boys were born to this union; Cletis and Curtis.  He loved his boys very much.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Vera Wilson.

Lee leaves to mourn his beloved wife and friend, Donna; his two sons Clete (Lynn) and Curt (Lynn); his five grandchildren: Chase, Ashley, Megan, Sarah, and Becky; also two great grandchildren: Peyton and Hailey, a brother Darrell (Barbara) Wilson at Bruce, WI.; also many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
