Lloyd Luckwaldt, age 86, of Woodville, Wisconsin died Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his home in Woodville.
MEMORIAL SERVICE and CELEBRATION OF LIFE for Lloyd will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Woodville.
VISITATION will be Friday, August 25 from 5-7 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran, and also one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday.
Burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Woodville.
Lloyd was born March 23, 1931 in Baldwin Township, St Croix County to Reinhold and Minnie (Albrightson) Luckwaldt. He attended Woodville High School for 2 years and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1949. He married Jeanette Rattei in 1954 and worked with his father and brother on the family farm. Lloyd and Jeanette moved off the farm in 2004.
Lloyd enjoyed his church, loved Bible classes and helped build the current church. He was a kind, stoic man who loved his family and made sure his girls all went to college. Post retirement he and Jeanette traveled to Euope and the Middle East. Lloyd liked to collect coins, watch football and play with his grandkids.
He retired at age 62.
Preceding him in death were his parents: brother Richard Luckwaldt and his wife JoAnn; sister Eileen and her husband Alton Helgeson; and sister Bernice King.
He is survived by Jeanette, his faithful and loving wife of 63 years; his daughters: Vicki (Dick) Eggen; Lori (William) Utech; and Lynette (Art) Lund; grandchildren and great grandchildren: Kyle (Trisha) Eggen and their children Taylor and Thomas; Katie (Travis) Johnson and their children Lily and Cole; Kristopher Eggen and Becky Konkel; Annmarie (Mark) Wallis; Claire (Austin) Wellhousen; Kellie (Jason) Horzewski; and Amy (Andrew) Ryan; brother Marvin (Angie) Luckwaldt; many other relatives and friends.
Memorial service and Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Woodville. Visitation is Friday, August 25, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran and at church on Saturday for one hour prior to the service.
