Marian Schoeder, age 77, of El Paso Township, died Wednesday at Preferred Senior Living in Ellsworth surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley.
Funeral service will be Monday, September 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church-Br. Michael Mandernach Center in Spring Valley.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Spring Valley.
Marian was born April 13, 1942 to Edward and Gertrude (Bechel) Hines in Plum City, Wisconsin. She attended Lincoln Country School and Ellsworth Schools graduating with the Class of 1960. On October 8, 1960 Marian married the love of her life, Vernon Schoeder at the Clayfield Catholic Church. They lived and farmed together in El Paso Township where they raised their four children.
Marian worked hard and helped with the work on the farm. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, Square Dancing and loved playing cards. She was active in 4-H with her kids and an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spring Valley
Preceding her in death were her parents and sister Geraldine Lynner.
Survivors include her husband Vernon; four children: Cathy (Steve) Silk; Scott (Patty) Schoeder; Cherie (Steve) Palacio; and Steve (Michelle) Schoeder; 9 grandchildren: Caleb, Kristopher and Braden, Matthew and Branden, Stefanie, Emily, Tyler and Natalie; 2 great grandchildren: Patricia and Connor; siblings: Eldon (Ann) Hines; Robert Hines; and Joanne (Scott) Gulbranson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Caleb Silk, Matthew Palacio, Tyler Pelton, Braden Schoeder, Kristopher Schoeder, Branden Palacio, and Justin Johnson.
