Russell Hague

Russell Hague, age 88 of Spring Valley, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at the Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation is Friday, December 28, from 5-8 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley.

A memorial service is Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Spring Lake Lutheran Church, Spring Valley, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church.

Burial will be in Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery, Spring Valley, Wisconsin.

Russell Leon Hague, born November 5, 1930 passed away December 25, 2018, surrounded by his family. Russell was born to Charles and Bertha (McCrae) Hague. He was born and raised in the Maiden Rock WI area. After marrying Delores Bjork on November 16, 1951, they moved to the River Falls area and later settled in the Spring Valley area. They were blessed with 9 children. Russell was a farmer, laborer and welder.  Russell was active with the horse and pony pulling clubs. He enjoyed the pulls for not only the competition but the friendships he created along the way.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife Delores, his son Rick and 2 great grandchildren.  He is survived by his children Jim (Zona) Hague, Randy (Debbie) Hague of Elmwood WI.  Daughters Jeanelle (Lowell) Mandelkow, Suzanne (Dennis) Whirry, Cindy (Mike) Richardson, Denise (Wayne Hays) Hague, Elaine (Duane) Brorson of Spring Valley, WI Sandy (Kathy Ertz) Shultz of St Marys, WV and Kathy (Eric Marx) Hague of Hammond WI. Along with 30 grandchildren and 44 great grandchildren.
