Sharon Roatch

Sharon Roatch, age 77 of Spring Valley, died Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Visitation will be Monday, July 15 from 4-7 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at church on Tuesday.

Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at St John’s Lutheran Church, Spring Valley. 

Sharon was born August 24, 1941 to Martin and Blanche (Hetrick) Thompson at Alma, Wisconsin.   She attended School at Durand.  On August 11, 1958 Sharon married Wayne Roatch at Durand.  The lived in Spring Valley most of their married life.

Sharon worked at Sons Tool in Woodville; for 30 years before retiring.  She loved mowing the lawn and gardening and enjoyed playing cards and trips to the casino.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Danny and Jerry Thompson; sister Joann Longsdorf and her husband Larry; in-laws: Bob Seger, Laverne Bauer and LaMoine Roatch and his wife Jan.

Survivors include husband Wayne; children: Terry Roatch, Cindy (Steve) Brorson, Tony Roatch, all of Spring Valley; and Laurie Sperstad of Lakeland, MN; 8 grandchildren: Dustin Roatch Kendra, Rachel, Ellen and Christa Brorson, and Toby Roatch, Amanda (Josh) Hanson, and Isaac (Jessica) Sperstad; great grandchildren: Ari and Harper Hanson and Cameryn and Evan Sperstad; siblings: Rita Seger, Mitch (Julie) Thompson, and Carol Bauer; in-laws: Dian Thompson, Marcia Thompson, Mary Hines, Donna (Eugene) Anderle, and Richard Roatch; may nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
