Allen Fautsch

Allen Fautsch, age 65, of Menomonie, Wisconsin died Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the Heritage of Elmwood Nursing Home.

A private family graveside service is being planned.

Allen was born September 26, 1954 to Raymond and Elmerina (Geunnigsmann) Fautsch at Watertown, Minnesota.  He grew up and attended school there and graduated with the Watertown High School Class of 1973.

Allen worked with his parents and brother Myron on the family farm at Watertown for a number of years.  After his father’s death, Allen, Myron and their mother moved to a farm in Lucas Township in Wisconsin.  After a few years of dairy farming, they sold the cows and rented out the farm land.  Besides farming, Allen enjoyed fishing and his International tractors.

Preceding him in death were his father Raymond; sister Joan; and an infant sister.

He is survived by his mother Elmerina and brother Myron, both of Menomonie; sister JoAnne (Greg) Zimmerman of Spring Valley; nieces Michelle Matoska; Kari Zimmerman; Kendra (Chad) Bowe; nephew Aaron (Ashley) Zimmerman; 7 great nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
