Barbara Joncas, age 62, of Spring Valley died Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire with her family by her side.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Barbara was born April 5, 1958 to Henry and Donna (Leach) Joncas at Menomonie, Wisconsin. She grew up and attended school at Menomonie.
Barb lived and worked in the Spring Valley area most of her life. She lived a short time in Hammond and worked at Erin Corners. She also worked at the Spring Valley Bakery, Stromley’s Woodworking, and Dave’s Eau Galle Bar.
She was an excellent cook and was an avid Packer Fan. She enjoyed watching “The Chase’ and doing puzzles. For the past 7 years she has lived in Spring Valley with her fiancé Tommy Luby. Most important to her was spending time with family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her mother Donna; father Henry; and step father Ed Biederman.
Survivors include her fiancé Tommy Luby; sons Jeremy (Amie) Johnson of Elmwood; and Shay Haugeland of Baldwin; 2 grandchildren Baily (Jamie) Koch and Devon Johnson; 3 great grandchildren: Kinsley Schmutz-Johnson, Jace Koch and Avery Koch; brother Steven (Darla) Joncas; sister Susan Nelson; other relatives and friends.
