Betty Reinhardt, age 92, of Spring Valley, died Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Western Wisconsin Health in Baldwin.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Betty was born November 25, 1929, to Emil and Julia (Pederson) Larson, in Baldwin Township, St. Croix County, Wisconsin. She was a baptized member of the United Church of God, Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
When Betty was just 16 years old, her mother died. She quit school to help at home and take care of her brothers. She helped on the farm and spoke of how much she enjoyed farm life and milking the cows. On October 28, 1950 she was married to Robert Reinhardt at Woodside Lutheran Church, rural Baldwin. She loved baking and made many apple pies for family and neighbors. They had a hobby farm with two milk cows, beef cattle and horses. She worked hard all her life, painted, did wallpaper, and cared for her husband Bob after he suffered a stroke.
Preceding her in death were here parents; her husband Bob; 8 brothers: Leo, Ralph, Roy, Earl, Wayne, Glenn, Mark, and infant brother Earl; sister Anita Sebion; and son-in-law Glenn ‘Jr.’ Hovde.
She is survived by her children: Rick (Vickie) Reinhardt; Rita (David) Hovde; Gary (Diane Carroll) Reinhardt; Linda Walters; #3 Son DeWayne (Melody) Hovde; grandchildren and great grandchildren: Josh (Gina) Reinhardt and son Jackson; Alicia (David) Dunkel and son Zach; Nik (Britny) Hovde and daughter Willa; Kassi Simmons and children Rhilyn and Reece; Brendan Hovde and daughter Hallie; Kyle (Katie) Reinhardt and children Karson and Trypp; Breanna (Diaan) Fourie and children Brooklyn and D.J.; and Jeremy (Karen) Atchison and children Triston, Karlee, Taylor, and Morgan, and many other relatives and friends.
