Charles Hogen, age 84, of Hudson, Wisconsin died Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Hometown Senior Living-Crestview, in Hudson, Wisconsin.
Funeral service will on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spring Valley.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at church prior to the service.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Spring Valley.
Luncheon will follow the service.
Charles was born September 6, 1942, to Albert and Marie ‘Blanche’ (Steiner) Hogen in Red Wing, Minnesota. He had worked for Proact where he worked doing piecework assembly. He lived at Hometown Senior Living in Hudson for the past several years.
Charles enjoyed fishing, participating in Special Olympics, country music, especially Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson, and singing ‘You Are My Sunshine’ and church hymns. He looked forward to vacationing with family and loved visits with them.
Charles is survived by sisters: Beverly (Joe) Thome and Dianne Stiles; and several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; in-laws, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Allen and John; sister Mary Olive Hines; and sister-in-law Carol Hogen.
Many thanks to Keith and Beckie Hines for their care and devotion for our brother Chuck over the past several years.
