Donald Albertson

Donald Albertson, age 85, of River Falls, Wisconsin died Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Kinnic Health and Rehabilitation Center in River Falls.

Funeral service for Donald will be Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service Thursday.

Burial will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery, Rock Elm Township, Wisconsin.

Don was born July 30, 1934 to Harris and Eleanor (Albrecht) Albertson in Springfield Township, St Croix County, Wisconsin.  Don grew up and attended school in Woodville and graduated with the Class of 1952.  He worked for 55 years as a Refrigeration Specialist for Erickson Industries, Vollrath, and Kolpak in River Falls.

On October 29, 1955 Don married Patricia Rodewald at St Peter’s Lutheran Church in Elmwood.  They lived in River Falls all of their married life and raised a family of 5 children.  Don enjoyed all sports, especially hunting and fishing, and also had an interest in John Deere tractors and Caterpillar machinery.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Patricia ‘Patty’ Brathol.
