Elaine Carlson, age 92, of Woodville, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Park View Home in Woodville.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church prior to the service.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, October 24, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, Woodville.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Woodville.
Elaine was born March 24, 1932, to Herman and Inga (Granoien) Schram in Menomonie, Wisconsin. She grew up and attended school at Menomonie, graduating with the Class of 1950.
She met and married Milo Carlson. They were married January 17, 1953, at Christ Lutheran in Menomonie. A short time later, in 1954, they moved to Woodville where they made their home and raised their family of three: Tom, Katie, and Pete.
Elaine had worked at the Baldwin Creamery, owned and operated the Nook in Woodville, and was bookkeeper for the Woodville Insurance Agency. She was an active member of her church and community. She sang in the Zion Lutheran Choir and the Norske Singers. She was active in the A.L.C.W. at church and a member of Park View Guild. She loved music and spending time at their cabin. Most important to her were her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Milo; brother Garland; sister Adena Reppe; brother-in-law Ingwald (Pinky) Reppe; sister-in-law Sylvia Schram; and stepfather John Schultz.
Survivors include her children: Tom Carlson; Katie Carlson; and Pete (Lisa) Carlson; grandchildren: Ryan Carlson, Paul Steele, Lindsey Steele, Amber Steele, Emily Carlson, and Haakon Carlson; great grandchildren: Aubrey and Briella Steele; other relatives and friends.
