Joyce Britton, age 89, of Wilson, Wisconsin, died peacefully on Sunday, June 21, 20206 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Joyce and Gerald (Jerry) Britton were married on March 10, 1955. Together, they farmed in St. Croix County, Wisconsin and raised their family of four: Shelly, David, Cindy, and Barbara. Joyce was Jerry’s right hand as they shared their lives together on the farm.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, their daughter Cindy Thomas, and Joyce’s sisters Joann and Norma.
Survivors include three children: Shelly (Ross Maker) Britton, David (Julie) Britton, and Barbara Britton; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Orval (Donna) Britton; many nieces and nephews, and other relatives, good neighbors, and friends.
A private family burial will take place at Brookville Cemetery in Eau Galle Township.
In honor and celebration of the lives and legacy of Joyce and Jerry Britton, there will be a gathering of family and friends at the Phoenix, in Baldwin, Wisconsin on Tuesday July 28, from 2-5 pm.
