Kathleen Dahlman, age 95, of Hudson, Wisconsin died peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2022 at The Estates At Greeley in Stillwater, Minnesota.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 4-6 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley with prayer service at 6:00 p.m.
Kathleen was born May 13, 1927, the seventh of nine children born to Jim and Emma (Moll) Harshman in Spring Valley, Wisconsin. She attended Spring Valley Schools.
On December 7, 1944, Kathleen married Robert Dahlman at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Spring Valley. They were blessed with 3 children: Erlene, Karen, and Robert.
They lived at Middleton, Wisconsin for a short time, and lived in California for a couple years before moving back to Spring Valley. They moved to Hudson in 1965.
Kathleen was a bar tender in Spring Valley for several years. She worked as a housekeeper at the Hudson House and Vittorio’s Motel in St. Paul. She had also worked for about 20 years for Model Cleaners in St. Paul before retiring.
She was a big Packer fan, enjoyed several hot air balloon rides, and spending time with her family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter Karen Hudson; brothers: Virgil, Clinton, Vernon, Willis, Robert, and Ronald and their spouses; sisters: Lorraine (Gerhardt) Odahlen and Carol Johnson; grandson Jeremy Barriault; great grandson Austin Robert Hudson; and former husband Robert Dahlman.
She is survived by daughter Erlene Barriault and husband Gerald of Hudson; son Robert Dahlman and wife Dawn of New Richmond; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother-in-law Duane Johnson; other relatives and friends.
