Kathy Timm, age 66, of Spring Valley, Wisconsin passed away surrounded by family on Monday, March 23, 2026 at the River Falls Area Hospital due to her long battle with cancer.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 1-4 p.m. at the Jason Afdahl residence located at: N6340 St Rd 72, Elmwood, Wisconsin.
Kathy was born September 7, 1959, to Charles and Rose (Johnson) Pomasl in New Richmond, WI. She was raised in Hersey, WI and attended Glenwood City Schools, graduating with the Class of 1977.
Kathy had worked for several circuit board companies over the years, including Micom in New Brighton, MN; Fabri Tech in Baldwin, WI; and the Henkel Corporation in Prescott, WI. Kathy retired from Henkel after she was diagnosed with cancer.
On June 1, 1985, Kathy married Bruce Timm at St. Bridget Catholic Church, in Wilson, WI. They lived a few years at Lino Lakes, MN before moving to the Timm Family Home in Wilson, WI. 20 years ago, they built a home outside of Spring Valley, WI where they currently reside.
Kathy loved to golf, play cards, and visit the casino. She enjoyed watching the Badger, Brewer, and Packer games. Kathy’s biggest joy was her family and most importantly, her grandchildren.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Rose Pomasl; in-laws, LaVern and Dorothy Timm; and brother, John Pomasl.
Survivors include her husband Bruce; Daughters and grandchildren: Melissa Timm and her children, Keagan, McKenna, Ava, Adi, and Gabi; Bridget (Jon) Wood and their children, Cora and Annabelle; Siblings: Joe (Cindy) Pomasl, Ed (Debby) Pomasl, Jim (Tracy) Pomasl, twin brother Kevin (Claudia) Pomasl, David Pomasl, and Steve (Pam) Johnson; In-laws: Mike (Kathy) Timm, Susan (Dennis) Anderson, and Linda (Rick) Kostuch; and many nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends.
