Lucy Lee

Lucy Lee, age 63, of Spring Valley, Wisconsin died Saturday, September 11, 2021 at her home in Spring Lake Township.

Lucy was born May 6, 1958 to Carl and Clarissa (Iverson) Nelson in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  She grew up near Kettle River and attended Moose Lake Schools.  After graduating, Lucy worked for a few years.  On October 21, 1978 she married Randy Lee at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Spring Valley.  They have lived their married life in Spring Lake Township.

Lucy had worked as a cook and server at a couple hospitals, Spring Valley Nursing Home and at McMillan Electric in Woodville. She helped Randy with his truck repairs and maintenance in addition to all her other work.

Randy and Lucy were blessed with one daughter, Bonnie.  Lucy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She became a homemaker to raise Bonnie, in addition to continuing to help Randy.

Lucy was an animal lover, and she and Randy have rescued many pets from shelters over the years.  She was an extremely talented artist using many mediums.

Preceding her in death were her parents, mother-in-law Elizabeth Lee, father-in-law Donald Lee, and brother-in-law Greg Lee.

Lucy is survived by her devoted husband Randy, daughter Bonnie (Jim Jr) Johnson, two grandsons: Cody Johnson and Matthew Johnson, other relatives and friends.
