Marie is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She was known for her love of family and dedication to her faith and was a member of St Bridget Catholic Church in Wilson, WI. Marie was born in a Swedish hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 28th, 1931, to Oscar Wallen and Gladys (Smith) Wallen. Marie grew up on a farm in Prairie Farm, WI with a large integrated family and graduated from Boyceville, Wi. High School in 1950.

She was a waitress early on and later worked in the nursing homes as a CNA and housekeeper. Marie married the love of her life, Walter Rositzki. They were united in marriage on October 23, 1951, and resided on a farm near Wilson, WI with their 5 children. Marie’s life was defined by her deep love of her family. Marie treasured the simple pleasures in life. She found much joy in dancing, loved her polkas. She thoroughly cherished visiting family, friends and neighbors, to include her yearly class reunions. Loved her travels. Was an avid wheel of fortune watcher, enjoyed bingo and doing word search puzzles. She attended many Syttende Mai parades.
