Martin 'Marty' Jensen

Martin ‘Marty’ Jensen, age 56, of Elmwood, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at the home of his brother, in Blaine, Minnesota, after an eight-month battle with Leukemia.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 5-7 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 3-6 p.m. at Janice’s home, W1521 710th Ave, Spring Valley.

Private family burial will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Rock Elm, Wisconsin.

Martin was born July 19th, 1966, in Menomonie Wis., to Cyril Kenneth Jensen and Janice LaVerle (Robelia) Jensen. He attended and graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1985.

Martin started to work at Meyers Industries in 1989 and celebrated 34 years there with perfect attendance.

He lived in Rock Elm, after buying his grandparents’ property, in 1995, and built a home there.

He loved taking pictures and did so on his many trips to Japan, Hawaii, and France. He loved travelling, drawing, history, riding ATV’s, fixing things, collecting items, and talking with his family. He liked to be a jokester and had a great laugh and smile.

He will be missed by his mother Janice (Robelia) Jensen, 3 brothers Tony (Dawn) Jensen Boyceville, Wi, Chris (Lorie) Jensen, Blaine MN, Tim (Diana) Jensen, New Richmond, WI, a sister Amy Jensen, Spring Valley, Special brother Fred (Angie) Schmoker and Ben; Nieces and Nephews; Scott, Alex, Becca, Nick, Charlene, Lexi, Austin, Max, Maya, Brett, and Hannah Jensen.

He is preceded in death by his father Cyril Kenneth Jensen. Grandparents: Cyril and Myrtle Jensen. Clarence and Fay Robelia.
