Michael Kelley, age 58, of Anoka, Minnesota died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Health and Rehabilitation of New Brighton. Michael worked at North Henepin Technical College.
Survivors include his mother Colleen Kelley of Wilson;
brother Brian (Annette) Kelley of Prescott; sister Jody Kelley of Baldwin;
many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 3, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spring Valley, Wisconsin. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. at the church following visitation.
Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Spring Valley.
Michael Allan Kelley, age 58, of Anoka, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2017 at New Brighton Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the son of Duane and Colleen (Klages) Kelley and was born July 10, 1958 at Springfield, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. Michael graduated in 1976 from Delano, Minnesota High School.
Michael graduated from Hennepin Community College where he studied Journalism. He wanted to be a writer.
Michael worked at Anoka State Hospital for a number of years. He was currently employed at Hennepin Technical College as a receptionist with the Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Education Center.
He loved music and was an avid reader, especially reading about U.S. presidents. He loved to write and had four books published during his short life. He was a kind and generous person who helped many families anonymously.
Preceding him in death were his father and grandparents.
He leaved behind his mother Colleen of Wilson, WI; brother Brian (Annette) Kelley of Prescott; sister Jody Kelley of Baldwin, WI; nieces Tiffany (Zeb) Hayes and Stephanie Kelley; nephew Adam Kelley; great nephews and niece: Dawson Pottratz-Kelley; Billy Hayes, Jillian Hayes and Samuel Hayes, many other relatives and friends.
