Nancy Lundgaard

Nancy Lundgaard, age 77, of Beldenville, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Wellhaven Senior Living in River Falls.

A memorial service for Nancy will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at C3 Church, Ellsworth.

Visitation will be on Thursday, August 8 from 3-6 p.m. at C3 Church prior to the service.

Private family burial will be at a later date.

Nancy was born August 18, 1946, in River Falls, Wisconsin to Marvin J. Ray and Olivia M. (Bjork) Ray. The family moved to California in 1956 and she graduated from Oceana High School in Pacifica, California in 1964.  She returned to Wisconsin in 1966 and met and married Gary A. Lundgaard in 1969. To this union one son was born: Robert.

Nancy worked at Lord Abstract, Pierce County Register of Deeds, and Pierce County Highway Department. She was a talented rosemaler and enjoyed gardening, baking, spending time with friends and family, playing games and socializing. What brought the most joy to her heart was being Nana.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gary; granddaughter Olivia; brother William; sister Avis Hayes; and brother-in-law Leroy Lundgaard.

Survivors include her son Robert and his wife Sue Ann; brothers Les (Slim) and his wife Cindy; and Edward and his wife Flora; her sister Ella Lundgaard; and her soul sister Laurie (Galen) Lundgaard, along with many extended family and friends, and her special group of friends, The Buffalo Girls.
