Orlin Anderson, age 65 of Spring Valley, Wisconsin died at his home on Thursday, January 19, 2017.

Visitation will be on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Gilman Lutheran Church, Spring Valley and one hour prior to the service Tuesday at church.

Memorial Funeral service for Orlin will be on Tuesday, January 24 at 11 a.m. at Gilman Lutheran Church, Spring Valley.

   Orlin was born April 24, 1951 to Orin and Alice (Dewey) Anderson at Baldwin, Wisconsin.  He attended Spring Valley Schools and graduated with the Class of 1969.  He attended WITC and received a Welding Certificate.  September 8, 1973 Orlin married the love of his life, Connie Mattison, at the Gilman Lutheran Church.
   He worked for Mid-America Dairymen for 22 years, worked for Shafer Electric for 6 years.  After learning the trade, he went into business for himself for 10 years.  He recently worked as manager of the hardware department at Spring Valley Drug and Hardware.  He loved to draw and loved woodworking, being a handyman and helping others.  
   Orlin was preceded in death by his parents and brother Calvin.
  Survivors include his wife Connie; 2 daughters:  April (Shawn) Miller and Aimee (Carter Nelson) Anderson, both of Spring Valley; 4 grandchildren: Luke, Samuel and Tori Miller and Dylan Webb; sisters and brothers:  Lorraine (Doug) DeLong of Elmwood; Ron (Arlene) Anderson of Hibbing, MN; Don (Diane) Anderson of Hudson; Carol Schilling of Woodville; Willard (Pat) Anderson of North Branch, MN; Crystal (Terry) Lubich of Roberts; Doyle Anderson of Spring Valley; Gary (Becky) Anderson of Elmwood; and Barbara Anderson of Ellsworth; his in-laws:  Jack and Barb Mattison; Mark (Amy) Mattison; Tammie (Jim) Anger; and Adam (DeLaine) Mattison; other relatives and many friends.

Honorary bearers were grandsons Luke Miller, Dylan Webb, and Samuel Miller.
