Randall Ecklund

Randall Ecklund, age 60, of Spring Valley, died Friday, June 28, 2024 at Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Private family services are being planned.

   Randall Norwood “Randy” Ecklund, age 60, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and great uncle, passed away on June 28, 2024, in his hometown of Spring Valley, WI at the Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center.

   Born to Norwood and Norma Ecklund on May 28, 1964, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Randy graduated from Spring Valley High School in May 1983 and had many jobs working as a chef at various restaurants in the Twin Cities and then he went on to vocational school to get his CDL in truck driving. He drove semi-truck for many years until his health problems and stroke left him physically unable to work.

   Randy is survived and deeply missed by his loving mother Norma Ecklund, stepfather Wayne Anderson and his sister Pamela (Mark) Spence. He also leaves behind his nephews Bradley (Rachel) Spence, Nathan (Samantha) Spence, and Gregory Spence and his great- nieces and great –nephew Samantha Spence, Mason Spence, and Adela Spence and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

   He was predeceased by his father Norwood Ecklund, maternal grandparents Lyle and Josephine Stockwell, and paternal grandparents Arthur and Frances Ecklund. The family is planning a private graveside service at a later date.
