Richard Brenner

Richard Brenner, age 81, of Bay City, passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at his sister’s home in Hudson.

Mass of Christian burial will be on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spring Valley.

Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday.

Burial will be in Clayfield Cemetery, Ellsworth, Wisconsin.

Richard was born March 26th, 1942 to Lawrence and Gertrude (Klecker) Brenner in Red Wing, Minnesota.  He attended and graduated from Ellsworth High School.

Richard was raised on the family farm in Bay City, working with his father, milking cows and raising crops on the farm that had been in the family since 1874. Farming was Richard’s passion. He was a true farmer at heart.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycle when he wasn’t farming. 

Preceding him in death are his parents; and sisters: Joan Larson, Rosemary Brenner, and Patti Gaustad.

He is survived by his sister Betty Gilbertson of Hudson; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Burial will be in Clayfield Cemetery, Ellsworth, Wisconsin.
