Roger Dahl Obituary

Roger Dahl, age 59, of Knapp, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024, due to medical complications, at Mayo Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota.

Visitation/Celebration of Life for Roger will be Friday, October 4, 2024, from noon until 3 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home, Spring Valley.

Burial will be at 3:15 p.m. at Wilson Lutheran Cemetery, Wilson, Wisconsin, on Friday, October 4, following the Celebration of Life.

Roger was born January 6, 1965, to Robert and Violet (Hoyt) Dahl in Menomonie, Wisconsin. He grew up in the Wilson and Spring Valley areas and attended Baldwin-Woodville Schools.

He started working for area farmers at an early age. He had worked for Barry Anderson and Gene Geiger in Spring Valley, and several other local farmers.  He had various jobs including working at the Hammond Feed Mill, the Tile Shop in Ellsworth, and also drove truck for Wiseway and Valley Cartage out of Hudson, Trac out of Menomonie, and most recently Johnsrud Transport out of Iowa.  Health issues caused him to retire early.

He enjoyed hunting, watching old westerns, family cookouts, his Busch light, and visiting with friends and family.

His father, Robert Dahl, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother Violet; sisters: Carol (Ron) Quinn and Carla Anderson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are: Ron Quinn, Heidi Weber, AJ Lawson, Danny Forbush, Brad Faymoville, and Rick Schillinger.
