Roger Kronholm

Roger Kronholm, age 89, of Wilson, Wisconsin died Friday, May 6, 2022 at his home in Wilson.

 Funeral service for Roger will be Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Wilson Lutheran Church, Wilson, Wisconsin.

Visitation for Roger will be on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Keehr Funeral Home in Spring Valley, and also at church on Friday for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in the Wilson Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Military Honors will be performed by Matson-Miller American Legion Post 301 of Wilson, Wisconsin.  

Roger Edward Kronholm, age 89, of Wilson, Wisconsin, died Friday, May 6, 2022 at his home in Wilson.

Roger was born on January 6, 1933 to Andrew and Veronica (Kvech) Kronholm in Morton, Minnesota, the ninth of thirteen children.  He attended Mechanic Arts High School in St. Paul and graduated in 1951.  After high school he entered the U.S. Army and served for 2 years during the Korean War.  After his service, he began his 42 year career at 3M and worked as a lab technician.

While living in Maplewood, he met and married Barbara Peterson on May 6, 1983.  They lived in Maplewood until 5 years ago when they built a home on Barb’s family’s home farm in Wilson.

Many special memories were made in Maplewood, MN, at Lake Vermillion, his 42 years at 3M, and most recently with his wife in Wilson, WI. Roger was an active member of Wilson Lutheran Church for over forty years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings, son Edward, son-in-law Mark Hill, and twin daughters, Jean and Joan.

He is survived by his wife Barbara J Kronholm of 39 years. Father to Candalee Hill. Grandfather to Christopher Hill & Anne Romens, Terese Hill & Robbie Jastram, Claire Hill & Dan Loury, Anne Hill & Jameson Olm, Kathryn & Scott Bostrom, and Kevin Kronholm. Great Grandfather to James Roger and Bernadette Hill, and Miona and Wyatt Jastram.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Wilson Lutheran Church or donor's choice. 

Military Honors will be performed by Matson-Miller American Legion Post 330 of Wilson.
