Shonda (Johnson) Mikelson, age 33 of Boyceville died unexpectedly, Friday, November 14, 2014.

Private family services will be held.
Family prefers memorials in lieu of flowers.

Shonda was born April 13, 1981 to Sylvan and Sharon (Pache) Johnson.  She was baptized and confirmed at St John’s Lutheran Church in Spring Valley.  Shonda grew up south of Woodville in Eau Galle Township.  She attended Baldwin-Woodville Schools, graduating with the Class of 1999.  After high school she attended Minnesota Business College.  She worked as an administrative assistant.
Shonda had four children and loved them all dearly.  She was very creative and especially enjoyed wood burning.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lloyd and Leona Johnson, and Dan Pache.
She is survived by her parents Sylvan and Sharon of Sarona, WI; her children Carson and Sydney Hulback and their father Dan of Durand; her son Cooper Mikelson and his father Eric Mikelson of Durand; her son Brody Fern and his father Tim Fern of Boyceville; her first husband Brent Kruizenga of New Richmond; her brother Shane (Sarah) Johnson of Baldwin and their daughters Alexus, Kendra, and Lilly; and her brother Scott Johnson of Washington, DC; her grandmother Virginia Pache of Pardeeville, WI; her children’s grandparents: Lawrence and Delores Hulback of Spring Valley; Dave and Diane Mikelson of Durand; and Gary and Patty Fern of Baldwin; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
