Susan (Vanasse) Ormson

Susan Ormson, age 57, of Spring Valley, died unexpectedly due to medical complications on Friday, November 26, 2021 at her home in Gilman Township.

Visitation is on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Spring Valley and for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Funeral service is Friday, December 3, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St John’s Lutheran Church, Spring Valley.

Burial is in Gilman Lutheran Cemetery, Spring Valley.

Susan (Sue) Ann Ormson (Vanasse) age 57 of Spring Valley, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly at her home due to medical complications on Friday, November 26, 2021.

Susan was born March 3, 1964 in Hudson, Wisconsin to David and Mary Vanasse (Howe). She graduated from Spring Valley High School in 1982. Susan married LeRoy Johnson and had three children, Brandon, Jesse and Michelle. Susan and LeRoy later divorced. Susan went on to marry Timothy Ormson in 1996. Susan has been a hard working, dedicated office manager at Advanced Dairy Systems for the last 20 plus years.

While Susan was dedicated to her office job, her main devotion was to her children and grandchildren. They were always her top priority. They were her hobby, her heart and her life was for them. She took pride in all the work that she did but most of all taking care of the house and taking care of her family and everyone else. She was the true definition of a mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed by all.

Susan is survived by her husband, Timothy, her children Brandon (Brenda) Johnson, Jesse Johnson, and Michelle (Jess) Moe, grandchildren Adia Johnson, Hudson and Molly Moe, and Mila Johnson, her mother Mary Vanasse, siblings Linda (Russ) Atter, Tom (Cindy) Vanasse, Scott (Lisa) Vanasse and Eric (Holly) Vanasse and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Susan is preceded in death by her father David Vanasse, daughter in law Shannon Johnson and grandson Leo Johnson, and father and mother in law Dean and Dorothy Ormson.
