Tina Casey, age 50, of Spring Valley, Wisconsin, died Monday, January 2, 2023 at the Baldwin Care Center, Baldwin, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be from 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 9, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Woodville.
Service will be at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist followed by lunch and burial in Spring Lake Cemetery, Spring Lake Township, Wisconsin.
Tina Marie Casey was born October 3, 1972 to Alan and Susan (Carney) Tinkham in Austin, Minnesota. She was later adopted by her parents Andrew Carl and LaVaughn Eileen (Hegg) Haarstad.
She grew up and attended Hayfield High School and graduated with the Class of 1991. While in high school, Tina received college credits through the post secondary education option. She went on to get her Medical Transcription Certificate at St. Catherine’s College in St. Paul. Tina worked doing medical transcription and also worked at a Relay Service Call Center assisting the deaf and hard of hearing.
On September 18, 1994 Tina married Dominic Casey at Summit Manor in St. Paul. They were blessed with four children: Kyle Evan, Aaron Matthew, Annamarie Rose, and Joshua Dean.
Tina lived at the Cottages in Spring Valley, WI, the last 10 years or so.
She enjoyed reading, writing, knitting, crocheting, bird watching (listening), and spending time with friends and family.
She attended the Community Bible Church in Spring Valley. Church and bible study were an important part of her life.
She is survived by her children: Kyle (Elizabeth) Casey; Aaron Matthew Casey, Annamarie Rose Casey; grandson Lincoln Casey; mother LaVaughn Ohm; siblings: Sharmain Yaritz; Carl (Kari) Haarstad; Kenneth (Tess) Haarstad; Troy (Casey) Tinkham; Tracy (Joe) Howe; and Tanya Haarstad; birth father Alan Tinkham; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Donald Dean and Helen Marie Casey; in-laws: Mike and Cindy Casey; Chantal and Troy Johnson; and Danielle and Chuck Slate, other relatives and friends.
