Vickie (Lucking) Huebel

Vickie Huebel, age 66, of Ellsworth, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly at her home in El Paso Township, on Friday, May 20, 2022. Vickie was born July 5, 1955 to Fran and Barb (Larson) Lucking in St. Paul, Minnesota.  The Luckings moved to Spring Valley in 1967 where Vickie attended Spring Valley Schools and graduated with the Class of 1973. On January 25, 1975, Vickie married Steve Huebel at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spring Valley.  She lived almost all her married life on the Huebel family farm in El Paso Township.

Vickie loved Jehovah God and Jesus, her Steve, her children and grandchildren, her family, her friends, her congregation, really humanity as a whole. She was like a mom to many, many people.

She placed her confidence in Jehovah and talked to him daily. One of her favorite things to do was share the Bible’s promised hope of Gods Kingdom and that someday all of our tears and pain will be wiped away in Paradise on earth. She also loved to dance with Steve, sing, garden, and absolutely always take care of her babies and grandbabies!

With Vickie, you could ALWAYS count on her to be there, ALWAYS see the good in people, ALWAYS open her home to help anybody, and ALWAYS have a ton of food for everyone.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

She will be greatly missed by the love of her life, Steven Huebel, and all their children and their families: Stephanie (Christopher) Coffman and their children: Aidan, his wife Alyssa and their son, great grandchild Eric; Brennen and Titus; David (Tanna) Huebel and their children: Devin and wife Nicole, Addisyn and husband Jake Hoadley, Paityn, Cohen, and Finn; Shawn (Stephanie) Huebel and their children: Sophia, Alex and Oliver; Matt Huebel and fiancé Laura; Melissa (Wade) Risler and their children: Bellamy and Wesley; Sarah (Bryce) Eno and their children: Lorna, Alayna and Freya; and Jeannette (Cory) Roed and their children: Xander, Roman and Emery.  She is also survived by her siblings: Shane (Mary) Lucking; Carrie Austin; Darcy (Mike) Webster; Cindy (Glenn) Sotona; Jaime ‘Butch’ (Julie) Lucking; and Tony (Angie) Lucking; many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 1 – 5 p.m. at the Phoenix Grill & Event Center in Baldwin, Wis. Memorial talk is scheduled 2 – 2:30 p.m.
