Bill Kirby, age 68, of Menomonie, Wisconsin, died Sunday, June 14, 2026, at his home in Menomonie.
Bill was born December 31, 1957, in Menomonie, to Brian and Beverly (Aaby) Kirby. He attended Spring Valley Schools and graduated with the Class of 1975. Bill learned his trade as a welder from his grandfather Art Aaby. He was a passionate businessman, in 1983 he started his welding business as Spring Valley Welding Service, over 29 years he moved from a small one-man shop in Spring Valley to a custom-built facility in Elmwood. Bill was a passionate student of American history and enjoyed vacations to national parks and monuments with his 3 sons. Bill lived most of his life in Spring Valley and surrounding area, due to a mounting health issue he settled in Menomonie.
He was preceded in death by his parents Brian and Bev.
Survivors include his 3 sons: Steven (Jericka) Kirby; Patrick (Jessica Brletich) Kirby; and Dan Kirby; grandchildren Nicole and Caleb; siblings: Susan (Dean) Timm; and Peter (Wanda) Kirby; nephews: Michael Kirby and Benjamin Kirby; other relatives and friends.
